La Cucina: From my Kitchen

Roast Beef Sandwiches

1 4-5 pond beef roast.
4-5 Beef Bullion cubes
11/2 Cups of Water
Onion Soup Mix
Jacks Juice

• Let bullion cubes dissolve in 1 cup of water.
• Set Crock Pot on Low.
• Pour dissolved Bullion into Crock Pot.
• Place rinsed roast in Crock Pot.
• Season Roast with Garlic Powder and pour 1 package of onion soup mix over the roast.
• Cover and let cook, 5-6 hours turning the roast every few hours.
• Remove roast and shred with a fork.
• Place juice in a container and it set up. The fat will harden and can be removed.
• Place the shredded roast back into the crock pot with the juice and a quarter cup of Jacks juice.
• Cook on low until warmed.
• Serve on fresh dago bread and enjoy with your favorite chips.

This is great road food if you work a lot of shows. It can be warmed in your room and you will have an inexpensive lunch for several days. Try sprinkling a little Asiago cheese for a little bit more flavor.
